Mistake? Ha!

Something is not right with this picture.

You're Kidding Right?

You're Kidding Right

So apparently, some 300+ Absentee ballots were sent out to residents in Rensselaer County, NY with a one hugely ridiculous minor error. Barack Osama is running for president.

Now, typos are nothing new. I’ve even been known to have a few finger slips on the keyboard, as has most of those who have ever typed anything on a computer. But we’ve got this thing called SpellCheck. Granted, SpellCheck is not the most reliable feature ever, it still gets the job done. I can live with a mistake not caught by a computer. This is why we have people manually check our work. We do it in hopes that someone will be able to catch one, if not all, of our mistakes.  This is what’s suppose to happen.

I would like to think that with something as important as an Absentee Ballot for 2008 Presidential Election, there would be a lot of emphasis on detail.

“We have three different staff members who proof these things and somehow the typo got by us,” said Republican Commissioner Larry Bugbee.

Really? All of three of you missed the fact that the name of Public Enemy # 1 is on your ballot?

You may want to try and get a presidential candidate’s name correct.  Right? Maybe not.

Of all the typos that could have occurred, the “s” was the one that happened? Oh, because the “b” button and the “s” button are right next to each other…Oh, its not? They’re actually nowhere close to each other? I had no idea. I mean he could have been Omama, Ojama, Ovama, or even Ohama.

Should I be surprised? No, not really. Republicans and the media have been trying to make Obama a terrorist for months.

Attempt 1: Bill Ayers Incident (I’ll let Palin explain this one)

…Failed.

Attempt 2: Barack’s Middle Name is Hussein

You’ve yet to explain to me how this is ANY WAY makes any type difference to this election.

Thus, You Have Failed.

And now we have our latest attempts at brainwashing voters with “mistakes” on the actual ballots.

OR

Maybe this was all just a mistake and I just wasted my time ranting about missed key strokes. Eh, Nah!

It’s quite funny how pathetic all of this is getting.

Im coming for ya, Barack!

I'm coming for ya, Barack!

Oh, you sly maverick, you!

Take Off Them Gloves Girl

•October 10, 2008 • Leave a Comment

In the past few weeks, Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain has been encouraged to “take the gloves off” and attack Democratic Nominee Barack Obama. Vice-Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin is echoing this sentiment saying, “people are whispering in my ear to take off the gloves”. I don’t know about you, but since when did gloves become the operative word for effective politics. It is almost as if the great Alaskan doesn’t know that presidential campaigns are built on misstatements and exaggerations. Governor Palin and her gloves might be off, but can she use her unveiled hands to beat some truth into this election?

Hi, My Name Is…

I ACTUALLY hate introductions.

They’re such a waste of time process. You’ve got to worry about bringing up the topic (“What’s yo name, what’s yo sign?” (C) Notorious B.I.G. ) , giving background info, forming every sentence so that it flows with the last…so that it flows with the rest of the conversation…so that it forms a complete thought and all of the rest of that great stuff we learned in Engl101(I hated that class).  Whatever! Far too much work.

Instead, there will be no introduction (this post). I can’t speak for my counterpart Mr. Kenny “Where’s-My-Umbrella?” Bradford-Roy. He may very well choose to give you his entire life story …and mine, too since I just put his name all over these here Internets. eh, oh well.

ANYWHO…

This should be a fun post you can dance to. Since this IS the first post and the work week is over. So, I’ll drop this little gem, which is soon to be, if its not already, blasting in clubs and worthless pieces of junk radios across the nation.
